2019 College Gymnastics Imperialism Map: Regionals

A note: I've heard your criticisms and suggestions. I am working on new rules for next season, but, for now, we will finish using the current rules. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this was kind of an experiment, and I wasn't really sure how it would turn out.

  • The major change I was thinking about was that in a meet with 3+ teams, the first place finisher only takes the land of the last place finisher. For example, if Oklahoma, Alabama, Boise State, and Cornell competed in a quad meet and the results were 1) Oklahoma 199.975, 2) Alabama 197.550, 3) Boise State 196.000, and 4) Cornell 192.350, then Oklahoma would only win Cornell's land (if they had any) while Alabama and Boise State get to keep theirs. This would make it harder for the Oklahomas of the world to quickly swallow everyone's land. Let me know what you think. I might simulate this year's results with that rule just to see the difference.
